Cryolite glazes drip from the ceiling of a ceramic sculpture and grow into calcite cicles. As the glaze starts to melt and dribble into formations, sudden cooling in the ceramic kiln solidifies it. Later, the cavernous surface will oxidize and develope hair-like crystals.
